Anchor Community Connection Fund
For the past two years, the UK Community Foundations network, of which Northamptonshire Community Foundation is a member, has partnered with Anchor Butter to spread good in local neighbourhoods by establishing the Anchor Community Connection Fund. This year, we're managing this fund in Northamptonshire, awarding grants of up to £3,000.
The Anchor Community Connection Fund has been established to support local organisations, causes or programmes which bring people together to share food and strengthen community connections.
The programme's main objective is to make a positive difference by connecting communities through food. Therefore, eligible projects must be focused on food-based activity.
This fund will award grants of up to £3,000. Examples of projects that may be eligible for this funding include:
- Drop-in sessions for vulnerable communities where meals or food parcels are available
- Workshops and training to support people learn about cooking
- Updating kitchen facilities to support the running of community cafés
- Sessions for people to share and develop skills for growing fruit, vegetables, salads and herbs
Please read the fund guidance at the bottom of this webpage for full details on eligibility.
This fund is a rolling programme, so organisations can apply at anytime until the fund closes on Friday 29th March. To apply, please complete an application form.
We strongly recommend our Grants Team reviews your form before you submit your application – email enquiries@ncf.uk.com and make reference to the name of your organisation and the fund you are applying to.
