Citizens Advice Services Corby and Kettering (CASCK) - £10,000 from First for Wellbeing
CASCK provide a generalist and holistic information and casework advice service in the Boroughs of Corby and Kettering.

Community Court Yard - £4,591 from First for Wellbeing Target Fund
Community Court Yard combines a restorative justice approach with street based youth work methodology which utilities a relational, co-creative working process, which puts those who engage in our services at the heart of the organisation. The grant will be used to fund a community development event called Changing the Conversation.

Bellinge Community House - £9857.05 from First for Wellbeing Fund
The ABC (Activate Bellinge Community) Project will provide a low cost, accessible programme of sport and physical and training opportunities that will impact on the long term participation levels of those living in the ward of Bellinge and neighbouring ward of Ecton Brook.

 

Care & Repair Northampton - £9,750 from First for Wellbeing Fund
The grant will be used to deliver a Home Wellbeing Service to vulnerable and disadvantaged people across the county of Northamptonshire.


Daylight Centre - £10,000 from First for Wellbeing Fund
The grant will be used to help meet core costs of the Daycentre Operation.

 

Friends of Oundle Library - £8887.97 from First for Wellbeing Fund
The grant will be used to purchase outdoor exercise equipment for use by residents of Oundle & District.

 

Northampton Bangladeshi Association - £2980.50 from First for Wellbeing Fund
The grant will be used to develop a youth club for young girls.


Northampton Door-to-Door Service - £10,000 from First for Wellbeing Fund

The grant will be used to increase the number of staff that take requests from users and complete mini-bus scheduling from one to two personnel.

 

Rockin’ Roadrunner - £10,000 from First for Wellbeing Fund
The grant will be used to deliver a Roadrunner Creative and Performing room workshops.

 

October 2016

Headway Northampton - £4,290.00 from First for Wellbeing Fund
The grant will be used to pilot a new, three hour monthly drop-in support group for people with head injuries.


Home-Start Kettering - £9,762.00 from First for Wellbeing Fund
The grant will go towards the costs of employing a coordinator to recruit and train 10 volunteers to support 20 families over 12 months.


New Routes - £9,950.00 from First for Wellbeing Fund
The grant will be used to sponsor two ponies to continue to provide a platform of early intervention, engaging students in an educational and well-being capacity through work with horses.


Northampton Counselling Service - £10,000 from First for Wellbeing Fund

The grant will be used to provide salary costs for a Clinical Manager and Administrator.


Pearls of Peace - £9, 952.50 from First for Wellbeing Fund

The grant will be used to provide support services to improve physical, mental and social wellbeing for women.

 

HD Media CIC - £9,980 First for Wellbeing Fund
The grant will go towards the cost of creating 15 minute podcasts.

Clubs for Young People Northamptonshire - £9,659 from NCC Wellbeing
The grant will be used to recruit and employ two apprentice youth workers at the club.

East Northants Faith Group - £10,000 from NCC Wellbeing
The grant will be used to recruit a new staff member to improve the current operations at the group.

Free 2 Talk CIC - £9,967.55 from NCC Wellbeing
The grant will be used to develop and build on the ‘Young Once intergenerational programme’ based in Bellinge, Northampton.

Healthy Eating Project - £7,950 from NCC Wellbeing
The grant will be used to fund a six month project that raises awareness about healthy eating.

Indian Hindu Welfare Organisation (Northampton) - £10,000 from NCC Wellbeing
The grant will be used to fund a programme of workshop activity to celebrate Diwali in Northampton Town Centre on Saturday 29 October.

Looking Glass Theatre - £9,987.87 from NCC Wellbeing
The grant will fund a two week tour (Oct 31st - Nov 12th, 2016) of a powerful WW1 play called 'Killed' to Northamptonshire Secondary Schools, Village Halls, the University of Northampton's Acting Department, and the historic St. Peter's Church, Marefair, Northampton.

Northampton Gymnastics - £9,120 from NCC Wellbeing

The grant will be used to purchase a new ring frame and subsequent matting for the rings and pommel horse area.


St Columba's Church - £5,766.20 from NCC Wellbeing
The grant will be used to develop a new partnership with Woodnewton to offer a 'stay and play' group at the church.

Northampton Door-to-Door Service - £10,000 NCC Wellbeing
The grant will be used to continue the Northampton Shopmobility service.

KidsAid Foundation - £5,000 from NCC Wellbeing
The grant will be used to fund therapy for 5 children or young people that have experienced traumatic events.


Springs Family Centre - £10,000 from NCC Wellbeing

The grant will be used to enable all those who attend to have access to sports facilities.


Time 2 Talk - £10,000 from NCC Wellbeing
The grant will be used to secure the group’s accommodation in Daventry for a further year and to contribute towards essential and unavoidable costs.


NORPIP – Northamptonshire Parent Infant Project - £5,000 from NCC Wellbeing
The grant will be used to develop a new project to support groups of parents from 24 weeks pregnant that have been identified as having a pre-existing mental health condition, which carries a high risk of affecting their ability to parent effectively.
