C2C Social Action – £9, 379 from Comic Relief
The grant will be used to design and implement a six week (one day a week) training program for young people in year 9 to gain a qualification and experience in catering & hospitality and in food safety.

 

November 2015

 

Umbrella Community Café - £10,000

The group will further establish their popular community café.

 

New Routes - £9,950

The grant will allow the group to sponsor two ponies which will be used during their activities providing horse-based therapies to at-risk and excluded young people.

Goodwill Solutions CIC - £10,000

The organisation will, with the support of their own funds, empower beneficiaries to turn their lives around.


February 2015

St. David’s Community Café - £5,000 from Comic Relief
The grant will be used to purchase equipment ahead of launching the café.

Wellingborough BID Ltd - £5,000 from Comic Relief
The grant will contribute to the town’s medieval festival.

 

November 2014

Earthworks - £8,677
The organisation will provide 45 weekly three hour sessions over the course of one year where people with mental health issues can experience healthy sporting activities.


April 2014

Corby Community Arts - £10,000
The group will provide a series of training events that will bring those on the outside to the centre. They will work in a disadvantaged area and give a voice to the local people, allowing them to comment in a public forum on their wishes for development in their area.
