The Northamptonshire 100 (N100) giving circle attracts businesses and individuals who wish their charitable giving to be more strategic and within the county.
By joining members have an opportunity to link with like-minded donors, work collaboratively in order to choose and support causes of mutual interest and gain more knowledge about problems within the community and county.
N100 members each make a commitment to give between £1,000 and £2,500 annually and by pooling these individual donations, the giving circle is able to support a wider range of beneficiaries helping some of the county's most vulnerable communities and those most in need. Structured as a group being part of N100 increases confidence in donating and giving.
The N100 donation is split. 50% of the donation goes into the endowment fund, and is invested and ringfenced for the N100 fund. The remaining 50% is spent during the course of the year for project activity and the interest from the endowment is added to this so that the pot increases its annual giving to a wide range of community groups and projects in the County. If gift aid is received, this is then used to support the foundation's general charitable activities.
N100 members receive:
With benefits such as these, whether you are new to charitable giving, or wish to pool both financial resources and opportunities more strategically, N100 is well worth considering.
